My Story

I created inPOWER Her™ because I needed it myself. After my own incarceration, I experienced firsthand the isolation, stigma, and overwhelming barriers that women who Rise & Rebuild face, especially when it comes to rebuilding a life and finding meaningful work. As I navigated my own reentry, I realized the resources, mentorship, and community I desperately needed simply didn’t exist. So, I began to build them—first for myself, and then for others.

In 2024, I founded Indiana Reentry Corporation (IRC) with a vision to create a groundbreaking reentry program for women. Together with our board chair, Rex Powers, we designed a holistic, gender-responsive model using advanced technology, AI-driven case management, immersive therapy, virtual reality job training, and a reimagined and disruptive Second Chance job portal. Our goal: to restore hope, confidence, and opportunity for women rebuilding their lives after incarceration.

When federal funding and policy changes put our launch on hold in February 2025, I refused to let the mission die. Instead, I poured my energy into developing inPOWER Her™—a coaching movement rooted in lived experience, resilience, and real transformation. Every lesson, tool, and bit of progress I made became the foundation for a program that now helps women from all walks of life reclaim their power and rewrite their stories.

inPOWER Her™ is more than a coaching business. It’s a living, breathing reflection of my own self-healing journey—a reality reentry program, created in real time as I rebuilt my life. My mission is to walk alongside women as they restore their confidence, redefine their purpose, and rise into their power, whether they are justice-impacted, working moms, or navigating one of many of life’s toughest transitions.

Every coaching package purchased helps fund similar coaching support for women in reentry through Indiana Reentry Corporation (IRC). When you invest in yourself, you’re also giving another woman the chance to believe in herself and build a new future.

I know what it’s like to feel invisible, to face closed doors, and to wonder if a new beginning is possible. I also know the power of a community with the right people, mentorship, and believing in yourself—even when it feels impossible. My journey isn’t separate from yours—I am walking it with you, every step of the way.
